Lord, my heart can scarcely fathom the enormity of the freedom You have secured for me by the work of the cross. Unify me with Your Spirit in power and might so that I do not miss any portion of the inheritance available to me in Christ. Even now, I come before You fully aware of the iniquity that blinds me. Open the eyes of my heart, Lord. Enlighten my darkness so that I glimmer with the radiance of Christ. Let me not bind myself to lesser desires and selfish interests because You have offered me so much more. As a child of God, I need not be concerned by self-awareness. As the beloved of the Most High, Your glory is my one goal in life. Lord, finish the work that You have begun. May Your ruling passion consume me in the fires of holiness. Strike the match of Your indwelling Spirit within me so that I am entirely consumed in order that You shine brighter in my life. Under the Word of truth given in Isaiah 60:1-2 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

Arise, shine; for your light has come,
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
