Word of God speak to me in the power of a quiet whisper on the wind that drowns out all other worldly noise clamoring for my attention. Settle the restless wandering tendencies within me until I am satisfied beneath the canopy of Your protective love. For it is when all noise dies down that I am finally at peace. It is when my own anxieties are laid upon Your altar that I can find the holiness that my soul craves. Deepen me as You minister to my unanswered longings. Strengthen me as You heal old wounds. Empower me to share what has been so freely given to me. Lord, only You can remove the scales from my eyes. Only You can break my heart for what breaks Yours. Let my feet move in the direction of Your will. Let my flesh bow before Your Spirit. Reign in me, Jesus. Soften the hearts of those You put in my path so that what You have given me to share will be eagerly received. Under the blessed Word of 1 Corinthians 2:12 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
