Though my enemies appear strong, my God is stronger. Though my weaknesses are many, God’s grace envelopes me. Let me bow in grateful adoration for all that You have done for me, Lord. Let me lay aside the entanglements that trip me up and steal the blessings You have ordained. Even with the distracting ailments of a physical body, empower my spirit to keep me focused on You. When the mountain before me looms dangerously, remind me that I have all power through You, Jesus. You chase away my shadows. You pull me up when the incline is too great. You draw me to the summit so I can catch glimpses of Your glory. Father, let me live for You because Your Son died for me. Under the mighty Word given in Psalm 3:1-3 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
O Lord, so many are against me. So many seek to harm me.
I have so many enemies. So many say that God will never help me.
But Lord, You are my shield, my glory, and my only hope.
You alone can lift my head.
Psalm 3:1-3, TLB
Though my enemies appear strong, my God is stronger–Amen!
