O LORD, my God, You are my King, the LORD Almighty, Master of the Universe. Dare I ask to gaze upon Your glory, to brave the intimacy of Your eyes? All things were created by You -the earth, the moon and the stars were formed at Your command. You weave the tapestry of time into a beautiful work of art, a masterpiece to behold. Nothing is beyond the comprehension of my God. For He knows all things both big and small. He is the God who sees. His creation, His world and even His people are known to Him completely. Who am I that my God would come to me? Who am I that He would step down from His throne to suffer and die for me? What love is this that has been bestowed upon one as undeserving as me? Jesus –the mere mention of Your Name quickens my heart. I said to You, “O how I have searched for You, my LORD!” And You responded, “How I have waited for You, my child.” At the sound of Your voice, all that is within me that had withered away awakes again with new life. The fullness of You envelopes me and makes me whole again. Let me live by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Let me walk by the light of my LORD. Let me sing in the shadow of my Savior because I adore my God and my King. What a gift to bask in Your glory. What a blessing to bow before You and worship You only. What intimacy to feel the eyes of the King gazing upon me; for He is Master of my soul. Under the Word given in Ephesians 2:10 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
