Beautiful is the Name of the Lord and holy is He. Father, let Your favor rest in the heart of Your beloved until my faith is increased and my trust made secure. Through the trials, let me know that I am not alone in the fight. Lord, You know that my heart is prone to wander into despair’s ugly territory. Provide for my deepest need as You guide me along the path of holiness to the glory of Your Name. For my heart often deceives me into thinking wants are needs. Soften my heart with the saturation of truth that only comes from Your Holy Word. Enable me to stand in the identity given me in Christ Jesus. For only when my foundation is secure will I not be shaken by the storm. I delight in the inheritance You have granted me from the cross. For You are my strength, my supplier, my foundation and my refuge. There is no tempest of circumstance or deluge of emotions that can overtake me. There is no trial that can defeat me. As Your child, God, I know that I am made stronger through the trial and refined in the storm. Under the beautiful word of Romans 7:24-25 and the authority of Jesus, I set these prayers at Your feet, my Lord.

Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life
that is dominated by sin and death?
