Today’s Prayer

Use me, Lord, to sustain the weary with a word given by You and placed into my heart for them. In my own weariness I have been comforted by You. For with Your energy I have been revitalized. With Your grace I have been shown Your all-surpassing sufficiency. Make me an extension of Your compassion, Jesus. Mold me into a spokesperson for truth in a world mired with deception. Open the eyes of the blind when fear veils eternal realities. Shut down the false narratives that play upon the thoughts of those called by Your Name. Holy God, set apart Your chosen ones. Raise up a new level of trust in Your promises because You are sovereign. Go before us to end this silent war until Your reign of peace is finally ushered into the whole of creation. O Lord, our God, let our moans not go unheard by heaven. Under the final authority of Your Word in Romans 8:18-19 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in anticipatory prayer.

Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory He will reveal to us later.
For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day
when God will reveal who His children really are.
Romans 8:18-19, NLT
