Today’s Prayer

My LORD, my pasture maker, I desire You above all things. In You, I find protection from all of life’s troubles. You bless me daily and lead me to walk in Your ways in order that I may bear much fruit. Help me by the power of Your Holy Spirit to keep my eyes not on the visible but upon that which is Yours. I want to live in Your truth because You, Jesus, are eternal life. There is no other way to life except through You. Only You can give me a pure heart. Only You can free me from the chains of judgment. When I seek Your Kingdom and Your righteousness I am free from worrying about the future. I pray to keep my mind focused on the LORD so that I may partake of His peace. Wisdom is a gift from the LORD with which we can tackle life’s difficulties. Brothers and sisters in Christ walk with us along the way of the LORD so that we never have to walk alone. The LORD, our God, knows our way. He helps us to find it through every storm. For in truth, He guides us. In patience, He teaches us His ways because He is our Savior. According to the perfect will of God, we are instructed along the path laid out for us. O God, open our ears so we can hear! Open our eyes so we can see! Let us be slow to speak and slow to anger. Let us stay protected beneath Your will. As Your dearly loved children You have blessed us beyond measure to enable us to live a life worthy of You and to please You in every way. Under the wonder of Your Word in Ephesians 4:1-3 and the authority of Christ, I bow in humble prayer.

I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
Ephesians 4:1-3, NIV
