Lord, persuade my heart to embrace Your Spirit in its fullness. Invade every empty crevice of my being with the purity of holy affection for the One whose hands formed me. Jesus, open my mind’s eyes that I may gain an eternal perspective that radiates truth in every daily action. My soul rejoices because in You I have been given every good thing. What sweet and precious mercy is this that You would see fit to dwell within my tainted soul, perfecting and cleansing all aspects of my being that come in contact with You. Thank You for training my eyes to look beyond the superficial vanity of religious observance which makes the outer cup appear clean. Lord, I bow before the majestic power of Your omniscient insight. Only Your Spirit can make Your servant glorious from within. There is no greater gift than this magnificent, transformative grace which inwardly renews that which was destined to waste away. I take solace in the warm fires of faith which have thawed my cool and rebellious heart by a love so divine I can scarcely fathom it. Receive my worship as a holy kiss sent toward heaven upon prayerful wings of praise. I gladly take Your seal upon my heart, Lord God, as I rest in communion with You. Under the mighty Word of truth in Song of Solomon 8:6 and the authority of Christ I bow in humble prayer.
