Let me feel Your sacred Spirit breathing on my heart, Jesus. Possess my soul in its entirety until all darkness is eclipsed by ethereal light. I need You, God. Your teaching is my guide. You know the wayward tendency of my heart. Your truth is my firm foundation. You know the fragility of my self-exalting imperfections which allow worldly priorities to influence thoughts. Your glory is my purpose, Lord God. Let the revelation of my heart’s truest intent be brought to light in every deed. Your love is my shield, Jesus. When the flaming arrows of condemnation have left battle wounds which cannot be healed, I come to You for the divine touch that changes everything. Hold me closest to Your heart’s center Lord. Place Your beloved beneath the canopy of divine will. Your sovereignty is my solace, God. Help shake the internal contents until anything unworthy falls out to be blown away as chaff. Under the mighty Word of God in John 8:12 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
