My Father in heaven I yearn to know and follow the path of Your illuminated will. Let my weary heart find its perpetual strength from Your abiding presence. Take me to the place where I can have the most Kingdom impact and shed the most light into the shadowy landscape of cultural preference. I yield to the counsel of Your mighty Spirit, God. The ears of my soul listen attentively for Your sweet voice of assurance. Let me not be content to hear about You Jesus, but only be satisfied by hearing You, the voice of my shepherd. Call me to obedience Lord as You keep me safe beneath the canopy of Your unmatched voice of command. With humble earnestness in my God I petition You to direct my focus heavenward on the things to come rather than become distressed by things as they are. May the distractions of worldly pleasure never eclipse my eternal gaze. Your beauty and majesty, Lord, far outshines even the brightest star of this existence. Under the Word given in Psalm 147:3-5 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

He heals the broken in heart,
    and binds up their wounds.
He counts the number of the stars.
    He calls them all by their names.
Great is our Lord, and mighty in power.
    His understanding is infinite.
