My precious and merciful Savior, by the empowering presence of Your Spirit lead me in self-denial and sacrificial living. Both are so contrary to human nature. Let Your covenant blessings consummated in faith advance my soul into the territory of true love. Lord, may I spend my life prying into the mystery of Your divinity and grace. Quicken my heart through the daily reading of Your Word. Etch truth on my heart canvas until the deceitful picture painted there is completely covered. When I look inward, Lord, let me see glimpses of heaven rather than assessments of myself. Keep me from any fear that would take me into disobedience by way of excuse in self preservation. My life is Yours to command, Jesus. Whatever gifts You have bestowed upon me, let me use them for Your glory. Jesus, manage my time and distribute my provisions according to Your perfect will. May all that I am be fully Yours now and forevermore. Under the Word of truth found in Luke 9:23-24 and the authority of Christ Jesus I bow in prayer.
