This book is a wonderful memoir by one of my favorite authors, C.S. Lewis. It chronicles his journey and ultimate conversion to Christianity.

Lewis is a truly gifted writer who weaves depth into every word he puts on paper. There is something wonderful about reading a book and making spiritual parallels with your own life. Surprised by Joy does not disappoint in that regard.

It is a quick read even as it grapples with heavy topics as Lewis describes his struggle in the space between atheism and Christianity. I highly recommend this book no matter where you are in your walk of faith.
