Today’s Prayer

Let Your shed blood be the effectual solvent that ultimately softens the hardness of my heart. Let me worship You in Spirit and in truth. Take my holy wonder and lead it into heartfelt worship. Whether I vocalize or internalize, let me worship in adoring humility. Lead me to marvel in who You are, Lord, and in who You have declared me to be. Redemption is a treasure of great worth for which I want to always be grateful. My soul has delighted in wondrous worship. My prayer is heartfelt as I reverence Your presence. Jesus, my Savior, how blessed are those who believe in Your Name. How unfathomable is the truth that You gave up throne and riches to impute Your royal righteousness on one as lowly as me. Lord, keep my heart eyes open to godly watchfulness. Lead me away from temptation. Keep me astonished with nothing except the manger and the cross. Lord, I want to meet You in the quiet place. I want to find solace in the solitude to which You invite me. Lord, examine my inmost parts, those that are most in need of softening. Take me into the next season with a heart fully implanted by truth and love. Under the Word given in Ezekiel 11:19 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in humble prayer.

I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.
Ezekiel 11:19, NIV
