Your everlasting love is sweet solace for my fearful heart, Lord Jesus. The inalienable inheritance reserved for those You love is the anchor of my hope. Your unfailing commitment to sanctify me despite my resistance is the solid foundation on which my faith stands. May I be better tomorrow than I am today. And better today than I was yesterday. All because the work of Your hands never grows tired or weary. My Father, I am entirely grateful for Your relentless attention. In Your mercy You never give me more than I can truly handle even if it feels like it at times. You only allow that which is necessary to my soul’s growth and benefit. Your love is the seal upon my heart. Your salvation is stronger than the grave. Long before my life began You sent Your Son to pay the ultimate price, to suffer an agonizing death, for the purpose of divine redemption. Can I even fathom a love that stretches timeless like a canopy over humanity? How can such a love be denied and still mocked today? Lord, let me not be counted among the cold-hearted, faithless ones warming themselves by the fire of deception. Keep me alive by way of truth. Only then will Your everlasting love be my refuge, my safe place and my shelter from imminent wrath. I humbly bow before the power of love shining forth through grace. Under the Word set down as a mighty foundation in Song of Solomon 8:6 and the authority of Christ Jesus I pray.

Set me as a seal upon Your heart, as a seal upon Your arm, for love is strong as death, jealousy is fierce as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, the very flame of the Lord.
