God, You are holy and You are good. Blessed be Your Name lifted high. Though the chasm between us was infinitely wide, Your love crossed that divide. Though the pit of my sin was enormously deep, Your salvation reached into the depths to pull me out. And though evil lurks like a predatory lion waiting to devour, I have taken refuge in my Savior who is my defense. You alone are God. You alone rule this universe. Time is a tool within Your sovereign hands. Evil will not be unloosed forever. The boundaries of deception are as firm as the shoreline that defines the sea. Keep Your beloved from stepping into those waters, Lord. Let my heart remain securely planted on the firm foundation of faith in Christ. There is great delight and solace in knowing that You see my heart, You hear my prayers, You know my soul. Only You can lead me in the way everlasting. May each step be holy determined by the Spirit. Even in its poverty, my soul praises You, Jesus. My heart adores You, Lord. My Spirit rejoices in God my Savior. Let my love for You manifest in obedience to Your Word and adherence to truth. Under the Word of God present in Psalm 24:7-10 and the authority of Christ I pray.
