My sovereign Lord, the majestic proof of Your love quickens my heart and stirs my soul to wakefulness. I look upon the cross in wonderous perplexity that You would set such a seal upon this earth. How much more can I admire the beauty in salvation than through utter devotion to the Savior of my soul? Lord, when You measure my love, does it come up wanting? When you sift through my affections, are there any impurities there? You have thoroughly delighted me with divine love on display in and through my life, Lord Jesus. Make my reciprocal love more hearty and fervent than it has been. Let my praise be intense and my worship authentic. Lead me to live out Your teaching and imitate Your life so that I am a loving example of Your grace and mercy. Your heart, Jesus, is the imprint of virtue which I want to mark me. Yours is the paragon of holiness that I desire to imitate. Take me to a place of sweet contentment that fully rests in You, Lord. In Your presence, my spirit is relaxed and my loved soul is replenished. I cherish You with a peculiar affection that runs deep through the veins of my spirit. You have brought the truest of loves to life inside me, Lord. Only You have the power to do that. Now lead me to live from that power. Since You are the very center and core of my being, Jesus, may I glorify You as I move through the days given me. May I represent You as I interact with the people You place on my path. Under the Word of God given in Psalm 139:23-24 and the authority of Christ, my Savior, I bow in humble prayer.

Search me, God, and know my heart;
    test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
    and lead me in the way everlasting.
