Let there be no distance between us, Lord God. Your unfailing love reaches into the depths of human depravity with the intent to draw out that which is good, that which was from the beginning. How merciful is the cross, Your plan of redemption set in motion since time began. Only the compassionate potency of Your grace could remove the stain of sin. Only Your living water can wash away the guilt. Let those who are blind be given new sight. Let those who are deaf be enabled to hear. Lord, may Your people view Your majesty, and worship only You. May Your people hear Your truth and praise the greatness of Your Name. No longer do I want to be haunted by lies. No longer do I want to see circumstances through a filter of faulty emotion. Before You my sin testifies to the evil lurking within me. In Your presence and under Your authority that evil is chased away and goodness can be restored. Lean me away from selfish inclination and toward You as You purify me in Your righteousness, Jesus. Though I am broken, You have made me whole again. In Your presence, joy is restored. Let the lips of those belonging to You forever testify of Your goodness and continually sing Your praises. Under the beauty of the Word set down in Psalm 77:13-15 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow before the throne in prayer.

Your ways, God, are holy.
