Your Word is the canopy beneath which I find protection from the confusion and corruption of this world, Lord. The woeful chaos and tragic circumstances of life are made better because You guide me through them. Make me a new creature, Lord. Chisel the hard edges until I am smoothed by truth. Open the shut doors of my soul until You have full access, Lord Jesus. Only You can break down every stronghold that keeps me captive, Lord. May nothing have dominion over my heart except You. Bind the strong man and cast him out, Jesus. When I am near You, I do not have to indulge the fears that assault me. Because I am Yours, the infection of stress need not lead to infirmity. I have no complaints because what the enemy intends for evil You, my God, use it all for good. So let the old things pass away until the new fully reigns. May my heart no longer delight in, comply with or submit to former lies. Break my covenant with idols as You illuminate them so that all shadows within me are vanquished. I am delightfully Yours. Under the Word given in 2 Corinthians 5:17 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in humble prayer.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
