Truly every good and perfect gift comes from You, our Father in heaven. Let my heart overflow with gratitude that becomes a waterfall of praise saturating the dry soil of my heart. Lord, make the seeds of faith grow and blossom. Take me to Yourself, as only You can prepare me for eternity, Jesus. Search the hidden recesses of my mind where rebellious thoughts linger and secret doubts weed the fertile ground. My desire is to be obedient without hesitation, Lord. Because I love You, I want to abide Your commands. Only the penetrating gaze of truth can search me and know me. Only by holding up the mirror of Your Word will my discrepancies be revealed. Though I wander, You can lead me in the everlasting way. Lord God, renew and replenish the broken and weary aspects of my soul. Your presence makes me a partaker of divine nature. Let me live in the holiness that best reflects Your divine love. Let my thoughts be pleasing in Your sight God, as Your Spirit brings my mind into captivity with Christ. Deliver me from worldly obsessions and carnal ambition, Lord, as I yield myself to You. Every perfect gift is from You, including Your Son. In humble and adoring gratitude, I pray beneath the authority of Christ and the Word of truth in James 1:17.
