Multiply the majesty of Your great Name, Lord God Almighty. Our darkened world has grown accustomed to counterfeit marvels. Nothing truly impresses the skeptic. The cynic will not be struck by awe. But You, Lord, can soften even the hardest of hearts in the powerful intervening of Your Holy Spirit. Touch the minds of the ignorant with truth that brings the dead back to life. What an honor and privilege to be taught by our Creator. Turn my focus to the heavens Lord, so that I am reminded of all You have done. The stars You have placed on the backdrop of the ebony canvas of night reminds me that light shines in the darkness. The celestial orb we call the moon glows with a message to my heart regarding the importance of reflecting the Son. Even the light of the day which provides warm rays of life-giving power is a teaching tool that inspires me to keep growing beneath the light of Your daily presence. How wonderfully instructive is the world You created, Lord God. How amazing that You are ever near to bring Your people back from dull existence and usher them into abundant life filled with joy and awe. Teach us to continually open our eyes to Your majesty, God Almighty. Under the message of Psalm 8:3-4 and the authority of Christ I bow in adoring prayer.
