Lord my God, let me seek You while You may yet be found. For the days are growing short. The final frontier of history approaches with many not ready for Your coming, Jesus. I implore You to prepare my heart, Lord. There is much work to be done before arrival at the luxurious gates. Grant a universal awakening in this world of Your creation, Lord. Rouse those who have fallen asleep beneath the soothing lullaby of lies and the blanket of deception. Whether the warm blood of youth leaps in the veins or the gray mingles amidst the once vibrant tresses, let us seek You with timeless devotion. Truly, death draws near with relentless precision. Make Your servants prepare to face the foe without fear. Stir up new desire to know You, God. Let the hungry soul rumble until it is satisfied with the feast of truth available in Your Word. May the thirsty soul find nothing that quenches its thirst except Your presence. Restore vigor to the weary Lord. Equip the feeble with strength in the Spirit. Time moves forward to its inevitable conclusion regardless of how distracted I become by life’s trivialities. Keep me ever mindful of what truly matters, Lord God. May I cease to exalt things above Your rightful place in my heart. Teach me to treasure the invaluable gift of salvation as the final day approaches. Under the mighty Word of God found in Mark 13:19-20 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in trembling prayer.
For in those days there will be such tribulation as has not been from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, and never will be. And if the Lord had not cut short the days, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom He chose, He shortened the days.
Mark 13:19-20, ESV

Let the hungry soul rumble until it is satisfied with the feast of truth available in Your Word. May the thirsty soul find nothing that quenches its thirst except Your presence–Amen!
