Lord God Almighty, beneath the shade of Your amazing grace, my soul takes refuge. You are my Savior, my strong tower, and divine protection from the adversary I cannot see. Increase my trust as faith rises like a new dawn on the horizon of my soul. Guide me around the traps, Holy Spirit. The One who dwells within me helps me avoid the snares of deception that remain hidden within the fabric of a rebellious culture. Those who do not know You, Jesus, are blind to their own shameful nakedness. Thank You for Your garments of salvation which have covered me so completely. When I fall, Lord, let me fall into the net of Your promises where I find both armor and protection to carry me through the seasons of life. Because You are the light of the world, Jesus, I need not fear the dark terrors of the night. I am well protected against the fiery arrows of condemnation. You have delivered me from the dread of disease and the sting of death. Evil looms like a shadow in this world that will be conquered by the light of Your glory. Lord God, I make You my shelter. Your Holy Word is my canopy. I lift my voice to You, knowing that You will answer from on high. Under the beautiful assurance of Romans 5:8-9 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, He will certainly save us from God’s condemnation.
