My Father in heaven, let Your blessed Word thread my soul with an eternal weaving of truth. Keep my heart void of offense, Lord. Forgive me my many blunders and discrepancies. My desire is for a purity of thought that only Your Spirit can grant me. My aim is for holiness in living that only Your constant presence can show me. Dwell in the deepest places of my heart, Lord Jesus. Make Yourself at home there as You root out all hidden corruption. Rid me of whatever secret faults of mine keep me from experiencing the fullness of Your calling. Though I do not always see the consequences of chosen behaviors ahead of time, I am grateful for Your timely correction to keep me on the narrow way. Only You can help me avoid the satanic snares and cultural traps which injure the divine love You have given me. Lord, You know everything. You know when I come and when I go. You know where I should be and where I should avoid. Remind me to heed Your counsel in big and small decisions. Shape my outlook with the chiseling tool of Your sacred Word. Make me more like You tomorrow than I am today, Lord Jesus. Under the mighty truth of the blessed Word in Ephesians 5:8-10 and the authority of my blessed Savior, I pray.

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord.
