Lord, it is my desire to live according to Your will. It is my weakness that I cannot do it without the indwelling power of Your Holy Spirit. I thank You for the grace that is more than sufficient to overcome my weakness, Lord. Your gift is my reward. Take my fragile breaths and make them holy. Mark my ways with footprints of faith that will linger behind me as evidence that Your way is my way. My deepest longing is to glorify Your Name and make You known even if my life influence is not bigger that a puddle. The splash from a puddle has the same measure of wetness as a splash from the ocean. Remind me that it is not the size of the body of water but the reach of the splash that counts. The wonderful thing about Your love, Lord, is that it never runs dry. I can splash faith, love, joy, compassion, kindness, and hope multiple times into the lives of those around me and I need not worry that my puddle of faith will disappear. The water You give me, Jesus, is an everlasting spring that only appears as a puddle on the surface. Thank You for the influence You have given me, whether small or large. May the message of Your salvation splash on the dry hearts, nourishing the souls who have been suffering from spiritual drought for far too long. Anoint each and every splash of faith I make, Lord Jesus. Under the truth of the Word set down in John 7:38 and the authority of Christ Jesus, my Savior and Lord, I bow in humble prayer before the altar of grace.
