Divinely marvelous changes and eternal transformation can only be wrought by the power of the Almighty whose grace and mercy intertwine in the fabric of the heart for those who put their faith and trust in Christ. Uplift the morality of the immoral, Lord. Chisel the spiritual character of the rebellious into Your holiness. Let us become a better reflection of the original design You intended for mankind. Bring Your beloved to the edge of the chasm where belief in my Savior alone will save me from plummeting to my death. It is You who turns the adulterer faithful. The stained sinner becomes clean because of all You accomplished on the cross, Jesus. Turn the blaspheming soul around in the power of a repentant nudge until devotion to Your Name is pure and holy. Propel Your people to honesty in worship even though our tendency is to rob You of glory, God. Give us a new heart as You promised to do. Let me no longer become drunk on the world’s indulgences as I sober up on the truth Your Word offers. Turn the slothful into zealous partners of ministry that gladly exemplifies Your love, Your tenderness, Your wisdom and counsel. Help me, Lord, in the Spirit’s power, to live godly in this present evil world. Change is not possible without Your influence. Lord, fulfill Your promise in me. I am desperate for Your presence. I delight in Your ways. You have changed me, Jesus. Keep making me Your own. Under the blessed Word of truth in 2 Corinthians 3:18 and the authority of Christ Jesus I bow in humble prayer.

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
