Your Holy Word enriches my soul, Lord God. The grace of Your Spirit covers the blotchy complexion of my heart. The tenderness of Your firm hands shapes my soul into the likeness of my Savior. Let the rains come so that my hardened spirit is softened like clay. Beneath Your hand of affliction, let me be malleable Lord. Ripen my mind with thoughts of Your majesty. Rid me of the unsavory meditations that become hindering distractions. I commit my spirit to You without reservation. I place my confidence in Your power and love. Though the enemy lurks in the shadowy temptations of this world, I need not fear because You have overcome the world. Let me renounce my old ways and forsake former habits. Lead me in a life of holiness and dedication to You, Lord God. Wrap me up in Your Name so that Your Word is the last thought in my mind each night and Your voice is the first that awakens me each day. My wandering heart finds its home in You. Keep me tethered to Your will, Jesus. Your Word is enough. Frame my perspective accordingly. Under the majesty of the Word of truth set down in Psalm 119:1-5 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
    who walk according to the law of the Lord.
Blessed are those who keep His statutes
    and seek Him with all their heart—
they do no wrong
    but follow His ways.
You have laid down precepts
