My heart longs for You, Lord, and only You. My soul pants for a drink of Your living water. How sweet is the sound of the heavenly chorus that sings: ‘Holy. Holy. Holy is the Lord God Almighty.’ Knit me into the fabric of such tight and holy weaves. Bring the melody of salvation into my quiet soul. Lord, let me be silent so You can be loud. I no longer want to be bewitched by the empty platitudes of vain worship that are motivated by worldly filters. Lord, I give You my heart. I give You my soul. Stroke the chords in me that only You can reach. The new song You have given me is one of victory. God, let me hear the Word, live the truth, and breathe out love. My only weapon in the war against sin was manifested in the spear that pierced Your side. Your victory is my redemption. Your wounds are my beauty, Lord Jesus. Your scars are more precious than any jewel this world offers. Seal me in Your love Jesus, because it is the greatest treasure. Make my soul sparkle in Your presence. May the service I offer Your Kingdom shine like a diamond. I cast whatever crown You have given me at Your feet as I gladly bow in prayer. Renew me with melodious praise before Your holiness. Lord, bring me to the throne room where my heart is offered up on the altar. Cover me in Your grace and mercy as You take me higher than the horizon of carnal concern. Whip up authentic devotion like a frenzy in my life and make it my love language. I gladly and worshipfully drink in Your holy presence. I am satisfied because I am in You. Under the blessed Word graciously given in Psalm 42:1-2 and the authority of Christ, I approach the altar in prayer.
As the deer pants for the water brooks,
so my soul pants after You, God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
Psalm 42:1-2, WEB

Cover me in Your grace and mercy–Amen!
