Lord Almighty, in sweet abiding confidence Your servant approaches the throne of grace. Your life, Jesus, is my heart’s motive. Your love is my tender comfort. Your truth is my support. Your presence is my guide. May this life song be a sweet strain that echoes the heavenly chorus of glory to God in the highest. There is no rest in a fleshly existence nor is there solace from selfish attainments. As I live by faith Lord, let me also forgive in faith. Mark each day’s moments with faith in the Son. Put the fragrance of Christ into each breath of this existence. The beams of Your love shine down, warming hearts that were once frozen in rebellion. Thank You, Lord, for the blessed salvation which blotted out my sins. How sweet it is to rest in Your faithfulness. How glorious it is to put faith in my Savior while others led astray put faith in their own faith. Truly, this pathway of life is blessed with each step of faith You lead me to take in Your glorious Name. Only You are worthy Lord. Under the blessed motivation of Hebrews 11:1 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in prayer.
