Stoke the embers of my memory Lord so that I recall Your faithfulness. Make the meditation of my heart holy, removing the corruption that lingers within, tainting devotion. My tired hands stretch out for You, Jesus. The depths of my cries reach Your ears. Let my night songs release the pressure of hopelessness. There is always hope in You, Lord. Your grace flowing from the cross is proof that You will not reject forever those who put faith in You. Your favor falls like a blessed canopy over those that trust in Your Name. The beauty of Your unfailing love rises along the horizon of my heart with promises sweet and dazzling to behold. With mercy and compassion Your companions, I delight to follow You into the unknown. For I remember Your miracles and the good deeds You have done. I consider with wonder the works You have accomplished in my life. You are great. There is none like our God. None so holy and perfect. Display Your mighty power among the people following You, Lord. When the waters rise and the depths convulse like a torrent, You are there to pull me to safety. When my circumstances rumble like thunder drowning out the peace, You deliver me through Your Word, let Your presence become the lightning strike that illuminates the dark. My soul does not need to tremble and quake when I am with You. Lead me Lord, and I will follow. Speak, Lord, and Your servant will listen and obey. Under the mighty truth of Your Holy Word set down in 1 Samuel 3:10 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in prayer.
