Grant me a tangible manifestation of Your Spirit in my life, Lord. Heart and soul, I surrender to You. Take the wasted years upon the altar and redeem the time as only You can. Decree the remainder of these days with gracious service in the ordinary and mundane or in the unusual and fantastic. Not my will but Yours be done, Lord. Forgive the backsliding that leads me toward apathy, Jesus. When my heart is heavy, it is Your presence that lightens my load. Father, I come before You in humble penitence. Worldly inclination shadows my soul, leading me to entertain carnal desire. May such impulses not taint the holiness You have called me to embrace. Overflow my cup with a zeal to know You, Lord. For You have made my former barrenness into a fruitful land of spiritual harvest. Every bitter experience and fiery trial is a plant grown by the rain of grace until it produces faith, hope, and love as its fruit. You have rooted my soul in belief, taken my cares upon Yourself, and freed me from the prison of negativity. Whatever was once considered loss is gain because of how You use it in my life and in the lives of others. Guide me with the truth that is the rock solid foundation upon which my soul can stand. Lead me to a nobler life that brings glory to You who is worthy. With praise, I can sing in the storm that my redeemer lives. Under the mighty infiltration of truth in Job 19:25-27 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.
But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives.
In the end, He will stand upon the earth.
After my skin is destroyed,
then I will see God in my flesh,
whom I, even I, will see on my side.
My eyes will see, and not as a stranger.
Job 19:25-27, WEB
