Today’s Prayer

Blessed be the mighty Name of the Lord, my God. In Your Spirit, Lord, I find rest and assurance. Your unfathomable mercies are as new as the morning sunrise that casts golden hues on a barren land. My heart contemplates the goodness of Your blessing and the wisdom of Your discipline. You are the Spirit of comfort in my distress. By Your mercy, I know that Your heart is compassionate and sympathetic. Let my walk reflect well the heart of my King. Tenderly, Lord God, You illuminated the dark infection of my sin. You lit the path which led to the cross where Your blood was spilled on my behalf. My soul is grateful with adoring faith. I bow in humble gratitude, Lord. Your presence is sweetly encouraging and manifolds strength in my weakest parts. Only by Your Spirit can I put to death the dishonoring habits formed by my sinful nature. May prayer be a continual rendezvous, Lord Jesus. Pull me in deeper so that I may fully abide in Your Holy Word. With humble thankfulness, I take hold of You, knowing Your grip is firm and that I have all I truly need. Under the steady and abiding truth of Philippians 4:19 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19, NIV
