Almighty God, full of awesome creativity and amazing delights for Your children to behold, dazzle the heart of Your beloved child in new ways that will increase my adoration of You. Tantalize my spirit with ancient truth from Your Holy Word. Make me a ‘doer’ and not merely a ‘hearer’ of the Word. Sift through the contents of my soul, ridding me of anything undesirable. Draw me into the depth of Your felt presence so that I can experience Your goodness to the fullest capacity. Take the embers of faith swirling in my soul and fan them into flames that will carry me to reverent places of worship. Through my words and deeds, O Lord, make Yourself known. Shape the devotion of my heart to fit the will You have for my life. Lead me in the direction of eternal hope and increased faith. Have Your way in me, Jesus, for I give You full access to my being. Under the beautiful Word of Psalm 33:8-9 and the authority of Christ Jesus, covered by His blood, I pray.
