Lord, bring me to the place where holiness meets reality, where breath combines with Spirit. Teach me to live without fear of death stalking me. Illuminate the darkness of my heart by shining Your Word on every iniquity, both big and small. Take this servant with a pitiful hand and a merciful grip. I know that You never let go, Jesus. Your hold is firm. Your promises are foundational to faith. Within the beauty of acceptance in Christ, my soul soars on wings of hope. Within the boundaries of a compassionate Savior’s heart, I find the sweetest rest. Even in my exhaustive, futile searching, You never gave up on me, Lord. I am grateful for Your relentless pursuit. Life is far better when lived Your way and not my own. I welcome Your continual sifting of my heart. I look forward to Your daily guidance. I rely on Your perfect presence. Meet me, Lord, where I am but do not leave me there. Keep pulling me forward despite my resistant heart. Bring me to that place where holiness becomes my reality. Under the blessed assurance set down in Hebrews 12:14 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
