Lavished by grace, I am completely Yours, Lord God. Humbled by mercy, there is no other love I can respond to in my soul. The essence of my life derives strength from Your presence. The motivation of each day is energized by zeal for Your glory. Let me not be weakened by the machinations of the adversary. I know whose side I have been chosen for. Lord, You continually pour divine light into the darkest crevices of the soul. Your truth chases shadows of deception. Your mark of holiness separates out the pilgrims not belonging to this world. Every step I take is ordained by You. Every choice I make is folded into Your plan of redemption. Grateful, I bow before You and give thanks that You do not condemn me for my mistakes. Let me no longer fear the powers of evil when the Lord my God has folded my heart into the covenant of goodness. Eternity is not to be dreaded but anticipated. Love is no longer a goal to achieve but a way to live. Clear my perception of all that is happening around me, Lord. With Your wisdom and knowledge, use me to draw others into the gracious covenant of salvation in Christ. Under the power of the Word set down in Psalm 19:7-8 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
