Great God Almighty, I humbly bow before You, awed by Your majesty and grace. I find soul assurance knowing that all things make sense to You even when confusion floods my own heart. Bring rescue in the midst of spiritual storm to Your beloved child, Lord. Catch me in the free-fall as the chaos of life rages around me. Allow me to hear Your powerful voice calming the wind and the waves. Usher me into the peace Your holy presence gives, Jesus, even when it makes the least sense. May Your sweet and loving touch caress the wounds of betrayal away so that my heart can beat to the rhythm of Your grace once again. Lead me every step of the way as I begin the journey through unfamiliar territory packed with the hope of the Promised Land as it reveals itself upon the horizon of my spirit. Under the hope found in Proverbs 3:5-6 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I set these prayers as incense before You.

Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
    don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
    He’s the one who will keep you on track.
Don’t assume that you know it all.
