Blessed is the truth that becomes the foundational melody of life’s beautiful song. Jesus, You are the truth. Let my distressed heart soar even when winds of adversity bring clouds of darkness. Although trouble surrounds with ominous power, my soul sings the verses of truth forming chords of praise. Though I am caged by bars of unsavory emotions, the song playing from deep in my heart is not hindered by such bars. Let waves roll over me and my Lord’s hand will lift me up to the surface where I can set my face in the countenance of God. Lord, instill a buoyancy in my soul that keeps my head above troubled waters and my voice perpetually worshiping the One who saves me. Amid the tempest of travail, the voices of the Lord’s redeemed can be heard, bringing glory to their King. Holy. Holy. Holy is the Lord God Almighty. Even when consolation does not accompany my troubles, Your presence, God, is purpose enough for my song to continue to bring praises. You are with me in the fiery furnace. You are beside me when the flood waters rise. “Fear not,” becomes the sweetest command uttered from divine lips. Thank You Lord for relieving my distressed heart because You know how easily my flesh fails me. Blessed is the truth that continually plays aspiring melodies of encouragement to my soul. Under the blessed assurance of Philippians 2:1-2 and the authority of my Savior and King, Christ Jesus, I bow in humble prayer.

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.
