Lord, make me delightfully occupied to observe Your way with me. Your hand pushes back the curtain of each day. Your fingers determine how fast or slow the moments feel to my heart. Oh that I would mark with reverent gratitude Your goodness in delivering me. That my heart would make special note of Your mercy in pardoning my iniquity. And let me never forget Your faithfulness in keeping the covenant. How remarkable and astonishing is the work of Your hands, Lord. What You offer is a fullness that completes my life. Let Your goodness and Your truth measure my days as the proof of Your love and veracity defines my moments. Continue to do today the same mighty acts You have done in the past. Show Yourself strong when my heart grows weary with doubts of a perplexing nature. As I discover happy incidents of Your presence, let me find myself refreshed and smitten by praises flowing from memories of old and into today. You are the same God who walked me through the fire. You are the One who lifted my head above the floodwaters. Your choice favors have expanded my territory to good places. Let me lavish You with worship and praise, Lord. I will tuck Your mercy into the fold of Your garment with gratitude. I will delight in Your way with me, Lord. Under the blessed assurance of Your Holy Word in John 15:3-4 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.
