Lord, let me not spare the unholy tendencies crying out for preservation in my walk with You. Despite the deceptive philosophy convincing my heart that its own desires are trustworthy alongside the will of my God, deafen my soul to such carnal reasoning. With stern, unflinching devotion, may I condemn to death all desire in me that wars against Your plan and purpose. Remove all idols of my own making, Lord. Whatever or whomever I have put on the throne of my heart besides You needs to be removed so You can have Your rightful place. Though I am weak and lack the ability to accomplish such a task, I know that Your power is mine to use, Jesus. Within the covenant of grace sin can be overcome. In the crusade against inward lusts, victory belongs to Christ. Let me cling to the promise that light will vanquish darkness. Keep me walking with steady steps along the narrow path, Lord Jesus. Remind me not to bring any baggage that will hinder the journey. With Your Spirit as my guide, I can travel light through this world. Under the blessed assurance of John 8:12 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.
Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, “I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”

LORD I KNOW YOU ARE THE LIGHT KEEP ME ON THE PATH THAT YOU SET MY FEET ON, LORD I NEED YOUR HELP TO WALK THE PATH AND DO YOUR PLAN FOR ME. AS I PRAY I’M SO THANKFUL THAT YOU HAVE BEEN THIH ME ‘ I KNOW I HAVE MADE AND DID THINGS THAT I’M SORWY FOR BY YOU BLOOD I KNOW YOU HAVE WASHED ME CLEAN, WHY WHEN I’M ALONE DO THEY COME IN MY MIND I NEED YOU SO MUCH MORE NOW. LORD I KNOW YOU HAVE MORE FOR ME TO DO, GUIDE ME TO WERE YOU WENT ME AND HELP ME DO WHAT YOU WENT ME TO DO, LORD YOU SRE MY LIFE I CAN’T PICTURE LIVING WITH OUT YOU AMEN AMEN.
