Lord, Your Spirit is my divine counselor. My heart and mind are Your domain. Your tenderness releases the tension and anxiety. The inner storm is calmed by Your command. There is no need to grapple with the enemy because victory is assured in Christ Jesus. Let me rest in the truth of Your all-sufficient power. Time spent dwelling on what might happen is a waste when You have given me a focal point of goodness and eternal destiny. Bring to my remembrance all that I am in You and all that I have been given by You. Truly my Savior is greater than he who is in the world. Tether me to this eternal truth even as I contemplate the ravages of spiritual battle, a battle that is inevitably reaching its eternal climax. Clear my vision to see beyond the clouds of despair and trouble because You are my God and Father. I need not fear when You are ever with me. Under the banner of Matthew 28:20 and the authority of Jesus, I pray.
