Father of purpose and author of every person’s story, let Your pen write a chapter of blessings abundant in my life. May my soul rejoice in sweet rest, a deserved break from life’s hectic pace as I seek You in prayer each day. Reveal to me the opportunity to serve You in Kingdom capacity, Father. Protect your servant from bodily illness even as You expend my energy in the service of those less fortunate than myself. Grant me eyes to see You working in me as a vessel of beautiful mercy. In all that I accomplish through the blessing of days given me in this life, may I give glory to You by maintaining a humble spirit and contrite heart. Build me up with the character of Christ as the story continues to unfold page by page in the days to come.
