My blessed Father in heaven, Your Name be exalted and continually praised because You are holy and I am not worthy. Yet Your love has rendered me valuable in Your sight. May Your peace permeate the situations in my life that cause turmoil and chaos. In the blessed assurance of being known by You, I rejoice. Reveal weakness in my soul foundation, so that I can shore it up with perfect truth gleaned from my powerful inheritance in Christ. I have much to be grateful for, yet I often live life in the downward spiral of selfish pursuits. I have much to pursue in You, God, but I too quickly let my own heart lead me astray. Empower me to stand in the faith that is my gift from You, Jesus. Bring me to experience new joy in the discovery of the revelation of grace and holiness as found in Your Word. Shower me with Your favor as I seek Your presence in prayer each day. Take pleasure in me, Your servant. Delight in me, Lord, as You teach me to delight in You. For the outpouring of Your love in the Spirit is the life of my entire being. I will not settle for lesser things that cannot satisfy as only You can, Lord. Under the mighty Word You have given in Psalm 149:1-4 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I pray with a humble heart.
