The desires of my heart are Yours to command, Lord. Take me as I am, but do no leave me unfinished. Be constantly before me, manifesting Your presence in the unforeseen moments even more clearly than I ever imagined. Inflame faithful passions of truth in the core of my being. Increase not only my knowledge of You, but my knowing You. Enter me into the blessed academy of holy living. Keep me devoted to Your Word and the intricacies of how it applies to my life. Let me attain to the fullness of blessing from the cross. Its shadow stretches from the past into the future. Where emptiness lingers in my heart, You are there to fill it with love divine and remarkable. Overrun me with hunger for righteousness, Lord. Bring me nearer to Your grace tomorrow than I am today. You know my failures before I do. Every loose thread can be tied perfectly by the nimble fingers of Your will. Help me release my plans in favor of Yours, Lord. Be in my thoughts, my affections, and my meditation. I pant after my Savior with abiding love that lasts longer than a spark. Fed by the sacred fuel of Your Word and Your presence, let my faithful love become a flame that never dies out. Lord, I trust You. I acknowledge Your Lordship. I find shelter in Your sovereignty. I delight in Your love. Under the beautiful canopy of Psalm 100:5 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.
