Lord, Your mercy is a holy benefit that I cannot do without. To know that blessing of being chosen brings peace to the soul. My heart thrills to hear the sweet sound of Your divine calling. A wretched soul delights in the justification glowing from Your work on the cross. Continue to set me apart for Your Kingdom purpose. Use my words and actions to bring glory to Your Name. With pondering, deep and introspective, I contemplate Your incarnation. You, who lived and died for Your people, are a true King. May I never take for granted the great gift of salvation. Transform me, Lord, into Your likeness. Feed me with the bread of life and bring me to the well of living water. I strive toward obedience and sit beneath the canopy of Your Word. Your truth hangs before me in clusters ready to be gleaned. The measure of Your love is unfathomable. Through the blessed guidance of Your Spirit, help me apply Your divine counsel. Remind me that Yours is the only way. Truly, You have set before me the path of life. Your rod and staff comfort me on the journey. There is not a single step I take alone. All honor and glory belong to You, my God and my King. Make my life a worthy legacy to Your Name. Beneath the blessed canopy of Your Word in Matthew 16:25 and the authority of Christ, I bow in adoring prayer.
