Without reserve, I present my battered soul to You, my Lord and God. You step down in Your grace to incline an ear to the prayers of the unworthy. Truly, my heart knows nothing magnificent outside the wondrous works of the Lord. The desire for Your righteousness swirls within me. The covering of Your mercy is a refuge in the storm of condemnation that rises like squalor in the wake of every failure. Solemnly, I surrender to You, God. Let me not fall into the hands of people. Let me not give allegiance to other gods. Consecrate me, Lord, by taking all that I am and transforming it into all You want me to be. Through Your Spirit, equip me to obey so that I bring glory to Your Name. Deafen my ears to the counsel of others who are well-meaning but unaware of Your plan for me. As the endless age of eternity stretches with beauty so bright on the horizon of my soul, remind me not to be afraid of tomorrow’s trouble. You have given me strength and sustenance for today’s troubles alone. Daily, You feed my hunger. Daily, I come before You with an open hand. I know who You are. I rest because You have always known me. Under the blessedness of Matthew 6:34 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34, NIV

Consecrate me, Lord, by taking all that I am and transforming it into all You want me to be–Amen!
