By the tender influence of Your Spirit, make my day one that pleases Your heart, Lord. Make my confidence humble so that I do not become blinded by arrogance. Reveal to me the majesty of Your creation, God. Help me see through the glorious filter of the cross as I gaze perplexed upon the afflictions so prevalent in everyday life. Each thought of my mind is Yours for the sifting because You are my Lord. Every affection of my heart I ask You to caress with Your hands so that nothing remains which has not been touched by You. When I bow before You, take my prayerful petition into Your heart. Draw me into the depths as You see fit and reveal to me the way You want me to go. Forever, let me carry Your Name. Infuse my meditation with Your glory. Your thoughts are precious to me, Lord. Sift me of all regret. Distance me from any remorse. Fill my empty spaces with gratitude for all You have done for me. Every portion of my soul is Yours to command. Lead me to love, Father. Under the blessed assurance of the Word of God in Psalm 149:4 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
