Today’s Prayer

My heart bursts with gratitude for the love of my Savior is good. Let my tongue continually praise the Name of the Holy One. Truly, You have restored me to the destiny originally mapped out for me. Though I was wretched, I have been redeemed by the mighty accomplishment of the cross. Sickness of the soul has been cured by the remedy of grace. The stinger of death has been removed by the scalpel of mercy. Pain is a chisel that reshapes the heart without breaking it. The Lord hears my silent cries. He responded to my desperate pleas. Let me perpetually seek You in earnest. When I am weak, I can lean on the One who is my strength. Though my days are fleeting, I pray that You would make good use of them. The goodness of the Lord is unmatched. All sorrow is repelled by Your promises. Everything the Lord said will come to pass. Expand my faith border, Lord. As my gaze settles on the future, let me see to the horizon of eternity where Your promises find completion. Let me walk the narrow path in that direction, never faltering in my obedient steps. Such a simple gift is all I have for the King. For Your glory, I live. Under the canopy of blessing in 1Corinthians 15:54-56 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”
“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

1 Corinthians 15:54-56, NIV
