Lord, may Your glory be the declaration of my life and Your magnificent handiwork the legacy that lingers long after I depart this world. Grant me a fullness of understanding Your eternal love even though I know how limited my capacity is. Place wisdom in my heart so that I am without excuse when it comes to facing temptation. Your righteousness is my reward, Lord Jesus. How blessed are those who have gazed upon the cross with repentance and submission. Your judgments are right, Lord God. Your solution to the discrepancy of humanity is unfathomable in its graciousness. I bow before You with a heart recalibrated to believe the impossible. It is the work of Your hands that gives me faith. You are powerful and bountiful. You are kindness and goodness. Your holiness is magnificently inspirational. Impart Your strength into my myriad of weaknesses. Nothing compares to You, God. Maintain my focus on Your wondrous acts and blind me to the influence of shadowy idols that poke at my vain longings. You are all I need, Jesus. I come to You because of who You are and not because of what You can do for me. You are King eternal, immortal, invisible. Increase the measure of my love for You who is worthy. Under the manifold blessing of Your Word in 1 Corinthians 15:54 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”
