Plant the pleasant fruit of the Spirit in my soul, Lord God. You have laid up the riches of Your promise and captivated my heart by Your Word and Your truth. Inspire me to daily survey the wonder of the cross. Shine Your light on my infirmities so that my soul does not remain sick forever. The life I have in Christ has made all things new. Joy flourishes where the heart fully surrenders. The wellspring of gratitude overflows the banks of my soul until the barren areas are watered and made rich for planting. Let joy abound as the vine wraps around my purpose and plans for life. Help me make new resolutions in keeping with Kingdom tenets. Equip Your servant to carry out divine labor with a heart that blossoms in prayer. My soul pledges itself to Your Kingdom cause, Lord God. Delight in the fruit of the Spirit as it manifests throughout my life. Revive the joy of salvation when it works under adversity. Strengthen my love when it is weakened by unmet expectations. Stir kindness into the daily moments and opportunities before me. Hold me within the borders of self-control. You are my Savior and King. Under the blessed assurance of the Holy Word in Isaiah 9:5-6 and the authority of Christ, I come to the throne in prayer.

Every warrior’s boot used in battle
    and every garment rolled in blood
will be destined for burning,
    will be fuel for the fire.
For to us a child is born,
    to us a son is given,
    and the government will be on His shoulders.
And He will be called
    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
