Everything done for me has been done under the authority of Your permissive will, Lord God. May I not take for granted Your sovereign influence in my life. Every soul advancement and lesson learned is a result of You teaching me. Cultivate Your image in me. Perfect the design so that I can better reflect You in my life. Thank You for redeeming me, Lord. Teach me to walk careful steps along redemption’s path. Cleanse me from defiling thoughts and intentions that keep me far from holiness and joy in Christ. Even in my unworthiness, You deemed me worthy to be called Yours. Into Your gracious hands, I desire to release my soul when the work assigned me is done. When my heart fails and my strength is non-existent, You will always be my joy and my strength. Carry me in my sorrows. Hold me in my pain. I worship You in my joy. I praise You in my delight. You are my inheritance and portion forevermore. In You, my Savior, I have all that I need. Under the abundant truth of Ephesians 5:1-2 and the authority of Christ, I come to the altar in prayer.

Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
