Lord, Your fullness unfolds in the natural beauty surrounding me. Though I dwell in a broken world, You have given me a glimpse of the eternal horizon. Your majesty is established in the unfailing rising of the sun and the cyclical dependability of the seasons. Bring me to a higher perspective as I climb the lofty spires of truth set down in Your Word. Bring me to a place of holy living that keeps me apart from worldly influence. My hands are Yours to use for Kingdom purpose. Only Your presence can inspire me to purify my heart. As deceit inflates within this culture, let me not get swept up by false ways of thinking. Ground me solidly in Your Word and Your ways, Lord God. I seek Your face and desire Your pleasure, God. When my mind is heavy with dark thoughts, it is You who lifts my head. Jesus, You are my King of glory. There is no hero besides You. Show me what it is to abide, Lord Jesus. Make me Your vessel. Accept my offering. Unfold Your fullness in the deepest crevices of my soul. I am Yours. Under the canopy of blessing in Your Word set down in Psalm 9:9-10 and the authority of Christ, I come to the altar in prayer.

The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed,
    a stronghold in times of trouble.
